My experience at Sher-E-Punjab in Kolaghat felt like one of those classic highway breaks that refresh you instantly. The moment you enter, youβre greeted by a lively, buzzing atmosphere β the kind that tells you the place is always in demand. Thereβs a warm Punjabi vibe in the air, mixed with the aroma of butter, tandoor, and spices, which instantly makes you hungry even if you werenβt.
Nice place Have own parking space for the banquet hall that gives the outside lane for parking. In front of the hall parking space reserved for restaurant only. 1st Floor Banquet Hall : Nicely decorated enough space with attached Big Toilet. Have lift and also wheel chair accessible facilities. Overall Nice experience.
Food is excellent. Ambience is overwhelming. Staff behaviour is soo good. Now imp things to note. They have parking space. But they have no Biriyanis in their menu. We have tried kababs and fish , along with chicken nd mutton pulao. Chicken lababdar is their one of the bests. Mixed fried was too good and full of flavour and ingredients. The garlic nun and butter nun was to the point Lastly the firni is kesar firni which is delightful.
Easily one of the best restaurants in South Bengal with a sprawling vicinity and outstanding food. One has to be prepared to wait quite a bit as they don't really ever have a lean hour. The Indian and Punjabi dishes are lip smacking. Definitely worth a drive out there.
Great place. The ideal place for a wedding/ private event. The ground floor is a somewhat smaller, but the second floor is a seemingly endless place. The seating area, photography zone, rest room all are fantastic. The best place for wedding photographers as well. I went there with my dad and we all enjoyed our 2 hr stay in this banquet hall. Highly recommended to visit!
