Roy Bari Events Gate No 1

My wedding was held at Roy Bari Events, Gate No. 1 and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience. Firstly, the venue took the entire payment upfront and later charged additional amounts for basic things like afternoon setup, a few extra chairs, and tables—none of which were communicated beforehand. These unexpected charges were unprofessional and unfair. The management was extremely disorganized. The ACs were not functioning properly, causing great discomfort. The electricity kept going on and off multiple times, which disrupted the entire event. Because of this, my groom was made to wait outside before entry cause the lighting was incomplete. The decor was not ready even by 5–5:30 PM. The mandap setup was completely different from what I had finalized, and despite repeatedly requesting changes, nothing was corrected until the evening—far too late. This was very stressful on such an important day. The manager appeared irresponsible and inattentive, and there was no control or coordination. During bridal makeup, staff kept entering the bride’s room repeatedly, showing a complete lack of privacy and professionalism. The rooms and bathrooms were poorly maintained and unclean. There was no cleaning or touch-up done before handing over the venue. Sofa covers were torn, bathrooms were dirty, and overall maintenance was neglected. For a wedding venue that charge so much, this level of mismanagement, lack of hygiene, power issues, and false commitments is unacceptable. I would strongly advise future clients to be extremely cautious before booking this place.

This is banquet near Bansdroni. The place is very nice well decorated inside. You can book it for any occasion purpose like wedding, reception, get-together, party or events. There is a big open lawn inside the house is well furnished and decorated with a full kitchen inside. You can book to stay there as well.

Nice property for parties and wedding receptions. The parking could be a little tricky if the guest list is very elaborate but apart from that the place lives up to its reputation of being one of the most sought after places for hire for such occasions. Rumor has it that the legendary Starlet of the Bengali silver screen rented this place as her place of solace. The glass House in the garden which can double up as a bar if. one wishes is indeed the cherry on top. All in all a well maintained spacious event venue.

The ambience was so good. Too many places for arrangements, selfie zones. The eye catching beauty of that place was very soothing for our soul. Attractive arrangements captivated our heart.
