Last wedding invitation and couldn’t have asked for a better one! Asparagus Catering Unit has been mu favourite for years and this time they curated an amazing wedding at the Baro kuthi Rajbari! The venue itself is majestic and it the decoration was royal ! The menu was compact but the quality was some of the best i have had at any wedding! From mocktails, starters their signature galauti kebab and one thing that was mass favourite was the lotte macch er chop! I loved the their gandhoraj chicken fry as always! Main course was a banger! Baked fish, chingri malaikari, mutton kosha, jaffrani pulao , no way to not mention even one ! The tutti fruti, pati shapta were the perfect finale of the meal! Mixed Opinion at Asparagus Caterers. I had the pleasure of trying them this year and here is the verdict - Starters were a hit, especially the Fish Fry - wow! Main course was okayish, but desserts were a sweet surprise. However, Mutton Biryani and Chicken Chap were major letdowns - mutton quality was subpar and biryani lacked flavour. Chicken Chap tasted more like a kosha or curry. In sum, it is good for events and catering services, but needs to up their mutton game and overall main course food quality!
