Taneira Sarees (Gariahat, Kolkata)

Very decent and sobre collection. The staff was also extremely supportive. An all new experience of buying sareees in Kolkata.

My mother has been buying sarees from Taniera quite frequently and I have recently accompanied her on her saree shopping. What I find worth appreciating is the care taken by the store for each customer, the behavior of the sales staff and the overall cleanliness and ambience of Taniera Gariahat store. It is a place where a first time saree buyer will FEEL the stamp of TRUST. The sarees are wonderfully arranged, across colour shades and fabric types and different handlooms of India. This is a place where overseas buyers will love shopping as well as local people, because of the variety and availability of sarees in all textures, fabrics, designs and for all occasions. I went there yesterday morning, 15th Nov 2025.

I had visited this outlet with my wife and i must tell this place has so much of options and the collection is too good. Can cater to different price range. The staff were very cordial. Special mention to Biky Da, he was too good, patiently handled all our requests, very warm and cordial behavior.

Store is good.all sarees & evry product is very costly Except chanderi silk.even Murshibad silk saree costs not less than Rs 9900 . May be the quality is fine. But very costly Sarees . Sorry to say. no budget friendly sarees r available. Staffs r well behaved very cordial , no doubt about that
