I have purchased from Sanchi for very long but there is one very big issue. They charge very high for alterations and still provide very poor fittings. This issue still persists. I paid 600 for one gown alteration with polishing but the fitting was not done and even the stitches were open and no finishing was done on that. Even no polishing or ironing was done. I could have easily gotten this done in local tailor shop for 200.
Extremely poor management. Looks like a fish market. Even after waiting for 2-3 hours, your turn won't come. Prices are hiked 300x, then given at hefty discounts. Alteration charges also there.
The place is absolutely perfect for sarees, salwar suits & all sorts of ethnic collections. Each n every staffs are worth for their excellent service, their patience level & their professionalism towards their work. Each n every time my shopping experience had been a pleasure, thanks to your excellent customer service & the patience shown. I will surely n happily recommend your store to other.😊
I wanted to exchange one saree to a more expensive one but the shop keeper started harassing me over trivial issues. Saree was intact only missing the price tag.. any other shop would try to please the customer but kanya sachi was very rude.. so I left without exchanging ..
My experience with Sanchi Sarees is very very pathetic. We had bought 7-8 sets of clothing for Durga Puja gifts. Since one of the kurtas did not fit one of my cousins, we chose to get it exchanged within 2 days. When we approached the shop, we were declined straightaway, stating that they dont exchange. When we asked why we were not intimidated of this while shopping, they specifically mentioned that "everybody knows it" and "it was mentioned on the bill". Imagine paying for everything and you get to know "No exchange/Refund" only after the bill is printed and that too, which was at the footer (1mm print) ... A very clever way to deceive customers. Also, these were never on sale. These are fixed-price items.. so they cant claim that these were products on sale, hence non-exchangeable. Again, one of the salwar pieces that i had bought in that set, was so small in breath that my tailor had to refrain from making a full sleeved kurta and mentioned that a healthy person would never have fit into the ready-made cloth. Utterly disappointing! Not recommended at all!
