Came with my fiancé for wedding shopping and honestly, it was one of the most frustrating experiences ever. There was absolutely no one to attend to us — we were standing there for a good 5–10 minutes while staff just kept walking around doing nothing. I kept asking people where I could find a particular product, literally around 10 times, and no one even bothered to respond. When we finally found the section ourselves, still no one cared to help. For a store that’s supposed to offer good service, this was just pathetic. Definitely not what you expect when you come for something as special as wedding shopping.

The store is very famous for years for its collection. During my sister's wedding most of the saree's were purchased from this store, carrying the same tradition for my wedding the saree purchase was done from this store but this time we didn't have the best experience. The staff is not good enough to handle the crowd, they get irritated if we ask for more choices. I would recommend visiting on a weekday when it's lesser crowd to get a better experience. One complaint I had is about the quality check, one of the banarasi saree i purchased that wasn't good with the threads coming out of the body,pallu and folds even the person working on the fall and Pico said it's not upto standards but he didn't inform us while he was doing the fall and Pico after we got it to home then we observed opening the whole saree. The reputation Priyo Gopal Bishoi has we are not supposed to check so many things minutely but after this incident it seems we have to check everything minutely like any other average saree shop. Although the person in charge took the saree after we raised the complaint and said it would be taken to Banaras to check what went wrong I hope things get settled and sorted.

Worst experience. Benarashi section is worst. They were only gossiping with each other... Not interested to show any varieties of sarees. Whatever we are asking, they were saying no, we don't have that pattern... Will never recommend this branch.

Great collection of sarees and kurta pyjamas... little costly but enough choices. Great location too... but parking on main road costs 60 rs!!!
