I follow Riya Di’s page and regularly watch her Facebook Live sessions. Recently, my mother and I visited the Gariahat store, and the collection exceeded our expectations. We purchased four sarees. A staff member named Mita showed us many beautiful collections, and her behaviour was very good. All the staff were polite, cooperative, and well-behaved. Overall, it was a great shopping experience.

Purchased a Patoda Silk Saree of 6k. Quality not matched with the price. Very thin and transparent material. Also doubt it is Silk. Not worth it.

We visited Palash Saree Kunja (Dumdum) today for wedding shopping, and the experience was extremely disappointing. A girl named Sushmita was showing us sarees. After showing just two sarees, she started putting the other sarees back and gave excuses like “Sunday more customers will come so we have to keep the sarees arranged.” We went with a genuine intention to buy and were ready to spend a good amount, but we did not purchase anything only because of Sushmita’s rude and careless behaviour. If a salesperson has such an attitude, the shop will never do good business. Salespersons are supposed to behave politely and show products with patience, because that is exactly what they are paid for. Her behaviour ruined the entire shopping mood. I will never visit this shop again, and I would advise others to be careful—at least avoid Sushmita as your guide. And to the owner, if you think this is a fake review or written to defame your store, then you are absolutely mistaken. First of all, you can check the CCTV footage of 23rd November — you will clearly see there was a small argument between your bloody Sushmita and us. We also have the bills, and we can show them anytime if needed. This is not acceptable from brand like PSK
