I recently attended a wedding at Kalikotta Palace and here's my take. They have an AC function hall, but the non-AC dining area felt a bit stuffy, probably because it was a sunny day despite having fans. Overall, it seems like a good fit for small functions.
beautiful blend of Kerala and Dutch architecture, this palace offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for events. The non-AC hall is ideal for small gatherings. the venue itself is great for weddings, cultural programs, and public functions. A charming place with historic elegance.
Ernakulam, is a stunning architectural marvel that stands as a testament to Kerala's rich history and cultural heritage. Once a royal residence, this palace has been transformed into a prominent auditorium, hosting a variety of cultural events, performances, and gatherings. The grandeur of the palace is not just in its size but also in its intricate design and beautifully landscaped surroundings, making it a perfect spot for both history enthusiasts and casual visitors. Cons- parking space is less and the outside roads are too small, not suitable for busses. You cannot stay inside without ac in summer.
It is a heritage site built by Royal family of Tripunitura before 1950. It is approximately "half kilometres" away from "Tripunitura Bus stand" and auto has minimum charge. Approximately 30 car parking space and there are two halls one with around 150 people can accommodate. If you interest to conduct a program with a heritage mood, it is the best place 😘
Kalikotta Palace in Tripunithura is a stunning example of elegant architecture steeped in history. The intricate designs and timeless beauty of the palace transport you back to a regal era. Walking through its halls and courtyards, you can truly feel the heritage that has been carefully preserved. A must-visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a serene spot to appreciate Kerala's cultural legacy.
