Worst Experience β Totally Unprofessional We had a very disappointing experience at Roop Lakshmi, Shop No. 181, Johri Bazar, Jaipur. On 21 January 2026, we purchased sarees, lehengas, ladies suits, etc. for my friendβs daughters marriage. The total purchase value was around βΉ84,000. When we politely requested a small discount considering the substantial purchase, both the owner and the billing staff responded very rudely and outright refused, which was surprising and unpleasant. Among the items purchased was a ladies suit (Cash Memo No. 25-26/9975 dated 21.01.2026) worth βΉ6,650. The fitting of the suit was incorrect and oversized. We were assured that the suit would be properly altered as per measurements. We were informed that the altered suit would be ready by 29 January 2026. On that day, we called the shop at 11:30 AM and were clearly told that the suit was ready for pickup. We also explained the parking issues in Johri Bazar and requested them to keep it ready so that we could collect it quickly. However, when we reached the shop at 1:15 PM, there was no parking available, so I waited in the car while my wife went inside. Shockingly, the shopkeeper said the suit was still with the tailor and asked us to wait β10 minutes.β Those 10 minutes turned into 25 minutes. When my wife tried the suit, the alteration was extremely poor. The tailor admitted that the measurement slip was lost and that he altered the suit without measurements. The suit was made too tight (smaller in size). Though the tailor tried to rectify it, it is impossible to enlarge fabric once it has been reduced. Eventually, we had no option but to compromise. This entire ordeal took nearly one and a half hours and caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Overall, this was a very bad experience, marked by rude behavior, false assurances, poor coordination, and unprofessional tailoring work. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. In fact, I am organizing an international engineering college reunion with around 150 participants (75 couples from India and abroad). I was initially planning to send all the ladies for shopping to this shop, but after this experience, I will definitely choose a different store. This shop shows zero professionalism, poor customer handling, and false commitments. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this shop completely. Highly disappointing service.

However, the ownerβs behaviour is rude, which negatively affects the shopping experience. They also promise multiple alterations but do not fully deliver on them. βBolte hain ki lehenga mein changes kar denge, lekin utne changes nahi karte. Sirf wahi changes karte hain jo zaroori hote hain aur jo clearly dikhai dete hain.β Overall, this lehenga shop in Jaipur is good for collection and variety, but customer service and alteration commitments need improvement.
This store is so so bad staff behaviour is so rude manager these people don't care at all about anyone's emotions or feelings. They only keep saying one thing again and again: "It will take time, it will take time." But when it's time to make a purchase, they talk very nicely. When making the bill, they forget to write the items they have added. They don't remember anything at all. They only care about taking the full payment. After that, the customer keeps suffering. To all the brides-to-be, please do not purchase from here. These people only know how to talk loudly and nothing else. They will keep saying "it will take time," and after making mistakes, once they have taken the money, they say, "Now we will try to see what can be done."
Worst experience ever. Never visit rooplaxmi for shopping. During purchasing time they will tell you so much promises about your outfit but at the time of delivery you will get different article.even they continuously changes delivery date of your lehnga . They told me that they will deliver my blouse on 20 jan but got on 8 feb .1worst staff worst owner and very rude behaviour. They even didnβt except their mistake . Worst experience. Uchi dukan feeke pakwan is absolutely true for these disgusting people.
Never buy a bridal lehenga from Roop Laxmi. They have absolutely no manners and donβt know how to talk to customers. They cheat customers and do not listen to them at all. They only care about money. Anyone who wants their bridal lehenga ruined should contact them. They should change their name to βBridal Lehenga Ruining Store.βThey have no concern for customer satisfaction Please no one should purchase anything from this shop. They have absolutely no sense of how to talk to customers, especially how they talk to ladies. I have not seen a worse store than this in all of Jaipur.We are facing cheating, mental harassment, and deficiency in service. A business exists because of its customers, yet this store shows no respect for them. Based on my experience, I strongly advise consumers to refrain from purchasing from this store.
