Was here at a book fair, courtesy a good friend. Was amazed to see so many book lovers! This place was buzzing with activity. There is a small parking place available inside. We parked at the Sensation Cinema Hall complex as parking was full here. The main hall is huge. My guess is it can accommodate around 500 guests easily.

From Apr 5 - 7, Bookchor organised a book sale where several used/unused books (mostly fiction) were sold at throwaway prices The books were arranged in a haphazard manner, and one had to spend a lot of time searching for books of a particular author. Further it was extremely difficult to find specific books However, it was a good experience, & I found quite a few books to my liking. Visited again today 26/12/21. The hall has undergone a makeover and looks far more compact and gives a great vibe The washrooms however, are NOT WELL-KEPT and stink from far away.

The available space is quite limited, which forced us to park our vehicle in the theatre opposite the Kalyana Mandapam. This was a bit inconvenient, but it didn’t overshadow the positive aspects of the event. Overall, I would recommend Vasavi Kalyana Mandapam for anyone looking for a venue for weddings or events, keeping in mind the parking situation. The combination of good dining and a spacious hall made for a memorable experience for all attendees
