"A decent, functional venue that gets the job done for large sized events. The hall is spacious and the location is easy for guests to find, with adequate parking available. However, the experience felt very standard—the decor is a bit dated. While the staff not much was helpful during setup, the food service was somewhat slow once the event peaked. It is a solid, marriages celebrations, but it lacks the premium finish or modern amenities required for high-end formal events
Mahboob Pride Palace is located in Karwan road, Beside Vintage Palace, I've attended a reception of my friend, This function hall can accommodate around 2000 to 2500 person's at same time, Very beautifully designed, Hall and dining area is very spacious, very well maintained, Seats is very comfortable with neat and clean covers, crockery is also very unique, ambience is to good, specially it's Crystal, LED, Glass Chandeliers is next level, staff is very helpful, Parking is sufficient for 2 wheelers and for 4 wheelers.
I am writing this message to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the management and overall services. This has been, without exaggeration, the worst experience I have ever had at a venue. 1. Poor Management and Money-Focused Approach The management appears to be concerned only with charging money, with no attention given to cleanliness, service quality, or customer satisfaction. 2. Unclean Furniture and Misleading Responses The dine-in chairs and tables were covered with visible stains. When this issue was raised with the management, the response was shocking—they claimed the stains “only appear when the lights are off,” which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. 3. Extremely Unhygienic Washrooms The toilets and wash areas were highly unhygienic and poorly maintained, making them unpleasant and unsuitable for guests. 4. Rats in Cooking and Washing Areas The most alarming issue was the presence of large rats in both the cooking area and the washing area. This is a serious health and safety concern and should never occur in a food preparation environment. 5. Severe Mismanagement During a Large Function We hosted a function for approximately 1,000 people. As a precaution, our chef prepared food for 1,200 people. Despite this, we still fell short of food due to internal mismanagement. 6. Staff Stealing Food and Supplies The serving staff were observed hiding and stealing food directly from the kitchen area. They were also taking items such as water bottles and tissue boxes. We personally caught several servicemen stealing food. 7. Lack of Supervision and Accountability Due to this situation, we were forced to send our own people into the kitchen area to monitor the food. The person responsible for managing the service staff stated that he could not control the situation because he was alone and managing nearly 50 staff members by himself. 8. Guests Left Uncomfortable and Hosts Embarrassed Instead of enjoying our function, we were constantly stressed—monitoring the food and watching the staff to prevent theft. 9. Staff Demanding Money from Hosts and Guests Another extremely embarrassing situation was that servicemen and servicewomen repeatedly followed us and our relatives, asking for money. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere in front of our guests. 10. Unfair and Disrespectful Behavior Regarding Tips When we gave ₹500 to one staff member and asked them to share it among five people, that person took the money and ran away. The remaining staff continued to harass us for money. Final Opinion My honest advice is to avoid this venue altogether. If you still choose to book it, be prepared to hire security guards just to protect your food and prevent embarrassment when food runs out before the main table is even served. This experience was stressful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. I strongly urge the management to take responsibility and address these serious issues immediately.
1. Can easily cater to about 2000 people for any kind of function 2. Sit down dinner of 500+ at a time 3. Car parking for upto 50 cars and about 150 bikes inside the premises 4. Don't confuse with mehboob function hall which is opposite the mehboob pride 5. During peak there will be traffic issues 6. No parking available outside as all function halls around mehboob pride 7. Reasonably priced
A very big and beautiful marriage hall. Location is good and hall is spacious with good external structure (giving feeling of palace) and beautiful interior. Hall is separated 3/4 for marriage reception & sitting area and 1/4 for food and buffet. Its have spacious changing rooms for gents and ladies. Hall is having its own parking space of medium size just at entrance. Light arrangement are also good.
