Sandoz BBQ is a delicious restaurant with amazing staff and an incredibly well-suited atmosphere for large parties. The constant service of table-cooked BBQ is a great experience that differs from your usual restaurant. A private room is available for reserved parties. Parking is available along a street but isn't dedicated. Do note that this restaurant is located on a multi-use building - it's on one of the upper floors, and can be accessed by stairs or elevator.
We recently attended an event at this banquet, and it was a lovely experience. The venue was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a classy vibe. One of the highlights was the terrace arrangement, which was set up so beautifully and added a special charm to the event. The open-air setup created a wonderful atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience.
Here’s my detailed review of Five Elements by Sandoz, Janakpuri – overall a 3-star outing. Ambiance & Facilities : Five Elements by Sandoz boasts an inviting open terrace on the top floor, ideal for casual get-togethers or date nights. However, during my visit, the cooling setup fell short: with only a couple of pedestal fans running, the terrace felt warm and uncomfortable after sunset. If you plan to dine here in warmer months, be prepared for limited airflow. Also, note that valet parking is not available, and the on-site parking area can get crowded during peak hours. Service & Accessibility: Service at Five Elements by Sandoz was noticeably slow and inattentive. Our server took multiple reminders to serve water bottles , beverages and bring starters. Seniors in our party struggled with poor lift service—several had to walk down the stairs due to repeated elevator stalls. For diners with mobility issues or elderly guests, this is an important consideration. Drinks & Beverages The beverage menu is disappointingly narrow, with only a handful of soft drinks, mocktails, and bottled juices. If you’re a connoisseur looking for variety—be it fresh fruit blends or craft mocktails—you may find the options lacking. Starters & Snacks • Fish Fingers: Decent crispiness and seasoning, though not exceptional. • Other Starters: Generally under-seasoned and bland. Main Courses • Butter Chicken: Creamy and comforting, but only average in richness. • Chicken Kadhai: Well-marinated chicken pieces in a tangy, medium-spiced gravy—definitely a highlight. • Paneer Dish: Stole the show! Soft, flavorful paneer cubes cooked to perfection—by far the best item on the menu. • Dal Makhni: Smooth, buttery lentils with a homely taste—solid and satisfying. Desserts • Gulab Jamun: Soft, syrupy, and just the right sweetness—very good. • Moong Dal Ka Halwa: Rich, melt-in-the-mouth texture with a lovely cardamom aroma—another standout. Pros & Cons • Pros: • Cozy rooftop vibe • Paneer specialty and Indian mains • Excellent traditional desserts • Cons: • No valet parking • Insufficient cooling on terrace • Limited drink selection • Slow service and unreliable lift Verdict Five Elements by Sandoz in Janakpuri offers some tasty Indian mains and desserts in a pleasant rooftop setting, but is let down by service, facilities, and beverage variety. I’d recommend it for a casual meal with friends—just temper expectations. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
I didn't like the place. Attended a family function. Half the food I have eaten was near stale like Manchurian, honey chilli potato etc. Few items were fine. Tomato soup was very bad. Don't feel like a good place to party.
Superb Banquet hall.We recently had a family function organised there at 2nd floor and everything was fabulous right from Bar cocktail mocktail food etc. The place is also convenient as near the Janakpuri metro line . Parking looks a little issue but somehow I got the place to park the car.
