This place is exactly behind tlhe Nithya Kalyana Perumal temple in Thiruvidanthai. To reach this place you have to get in to the temple arch on the OMR. From the main road it will be around 1 km. Let us get in to the place details. This place is built on the traditional method, which attracts most of the people. Marriage within close relatives and friends can happen here. Maximum 75 people can be accommodated in this place to view the marriage happenings. One side you have the stage and people can view the marriage from 3 sides. Big air coolers arranged in all the 4 corners. It was not suffocating as it was 6 to 7 am muhutham in sep month, but not sure about the rooms. Not sure how it will be during the summer season. In the center, you have open terrace with glass covered and this area is filled with water and flower floating on it. Really nice arrangements and worth to host a memorable life time functions here. Rooms are available in the first and second floors with Lift facility available. Car parking is available with ample amount of space just opposite to this place. Dining hall is in different place, which is 200 meters away towards the Perumal temple . Battery car is available to take you to the dinning hall. I m not sure about the rate to host the functions in this place, but overall I feel it is good place to host small marriage functions. People coming from north madras should start early to reach this place.

Attended a marriage event today at Miththam, located near Nithyakalyana Perumal Temple (off ECR). Though it's over 30 km from central Chennai, the venue offers a refreshing and peaceful setting. The place is traditional and surrounded by greenery, with a calm, old-world charm. Guests can even view the event from the first floor, adding to the experience. Tea, coffee, and juice were served at the venue, while breakfast and lunch were arranged in a separate dining area, just a short walk away. An electric vehicle is also available to shuttle guests between the two spots. Parking is hassle-free thanks to the open surroundings. Overall, a lovely venue for weddings and small functions, if you don't mind the distance. Since I am based in proper Chennai, I had to take uber rental for six hours and paid Rs 2500, which I feel could have sent for a better purpose if the venue had been within the city.

We had our daughter’s wedding at Miththam, and choosing this venue was truly a heartfelt decision. The place instantly reminded me of my grandfather’s house — traditional, serene, and filled with warmth. It is a very quiet location with ample parking space and a wonderful, pleasant atmosphere that perfectly suited a family wedding. Our point of contact, Mr. Ajith, was exceptionally helpful and supportive. Whenever we reached out to him, he patiently clarified all our doubts and guided us through every arrangement, both before and after the event. His coordination made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Mr. Arun was equally supportive and guided us throughout the event with great care and professionalism. I must specially mention the entire Miththam team — they were cooperative, kind, and attentive at every step. Their dedication made our celebration seamless and joyful. Thank you to the Miththam team for making our daughter’s wedding a beautiful and memorable occasion that we will always cherish. 🙏✨

Ample parking, clean and well-maintained rooms, spacious dining areas, and excellent lighting and acoustics all contributed to a smooth and delightful experience for us and our guests. Many attendees even complimented the venue, calling it one of the most comfortable and well-organised wedding halls they’ve visited. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Mitham Hall team for making our celebration so beautiful and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue.
