I hardly know this shop even being in Chennai for my entire life time. We planned to purchase a saree for my daughter in a budget of Rs.3000(max). We walked into this place skeptically as mentioned earlier not aware of the brand. A senior staff person Mr.Ramesh guided us thru the shop and it was quite a quiet good place to my amusement. Amongst the bustling Pondy Bazaar such a cozy huge shop was amazing. We walked in and sat in front of Kancheepuram silk sarees and he started displaying sarees of range 15k to 20k. I said I am so sorry that doesn't fit my budget I am moving. He though initially thought as so much salesman pressure, but gradually turned out to be so fascinating. This elderly man's enthusiasm fetched us and we both were gleeful. he displayed a beautiful copper jari sari for Rs.12k. and we grabbed it immediately. Also along with it we bought 2 more sarees amounting to 30k. Imagine the sales... 3k to 30k. Then in the front when we were paying our bills happened to look upon sarees ranging from 1.5k and more. We ended up with 4 sarees and total sales of Rs.35k... only for Mr.Ramesh. Hats off to the Young minded enthusiastic and energetic elderly man whose speech did most of the sales... We are glad that we stumbled into this wonderful place. Thanks Pondy Bazaar.. the shopping galore of Chennai.

Nothing special, they just had 2 on certain type saarees , wondering how a saree shop just have 2 to 3 sarees on certain collection, waste of time

I have never been to this store, yet my online experience was like being physically there. The staff members, Ms. SELVI AND Sri Thilakan are very helpful, courteous, understanding and patient. The saree collections are awesome, prices are reasonable, and colour combinations are superb. I wanted to pick up one saree, but ended up buying 3 in quick succession. My heartfelt wishes to everyone at this amazing store. Keep up the good work. May God be with all of you. Thank you.
