I had heard a lot about the luxury and heritage of Jehan Numa Palace Hotel, but unfortunately, I never got the chance to visit it earlier. Recently, I finally visited the hotel with a few friends, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a prime area of Bhopal, and its heritage charm truly makes it stand out. The palace architecture, beautiful surroundings, and calm atmosphere give you a royal feeling the moment you enter. Walking through the property makes you feel proud of the rich history and culture that this hotel represents. Every corner reflects elegance and old-world charm, which is rare to find today. Apart from the royal experience, the food was also very good in taste and quality. The only small drawback I noticed was that the food portions were slightly less compared to other five-star hotels in Bhopal, such as Taj Lake View. However, the taste and presentation were excellent, so it did not affect the overall experience much. Overall, Jehan Numa Palace Hotel is a perfect place for anyone who appreciates heritage, luxury, and peaceful surroundings. If you have never visited this beautiful property before, I would strongly recommend visiting it at least once. You will surely love the experience and the unique charm it offers.
We had a wonderful one-night stay at Jehan Numa Palace Hotel. The staff was extremely polite, calm, and professional, and the service was truly top-notch from the moment we arrived. We also tried the massage therapy, and it was a very relaxing and refreshing experience. The food was absolutely awesome β we really enjoyed the quality and taste. Spending time by the poolside, listening to birds chirping and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, made our stay even more special. The entire property looks luxurious, beautifully maintained, and very serene. We also visited the horse area, and it was impressively well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended! βββββ
We were in Bhopal for a day, and being foodies at heart and from the hospitality industry, our trip would be wasted without a meal at the Jehan Numa Palace Hotel.... We weren't as hungry, as we had a heavy lunch that day. Yet we gathered courage to head to the Palace for dinner, simply because we couldn't miss having a meal there. We were stunned by the magnificent structure upon arrival. The architecture is marvellous, the hotel is impeccably maintained, and a soothing treat to the eyes... The marble flooring especially, is so well maintained, spotlessly clean and shining like new! The palace is pristine and as white as white can be! The aura of the Palace Hotel is magical. Coming to the food, we had Kumbh Galouti Kebab and Kathal Biryani as we were stuffed to the brim. The Kumbh Galouti was perfectly done and melted in the mouth. The flavours were earthy, umami with a hint of Nawabi spice mixes and Kewra itr/ Kewra jal. The taste was nice, but it could do with a little less spice and Kewra (a little extra of Kewra can be overpowering). The Kathal Biryani was too flavourful and yummy. The quantity was good too. The jackfruit pieces were so well cooked, the texture was meaty, just like pieces of well cooked mutton. I just couldn't stop eating it. But there came a point where my tummy couldn't hold more and I had to stop. Felt bad for not being able to finish it and also for the fact that I wasn't able to get it packed either as we were on a holiday. The service was good and the waiter / server was very polite. He also served us warm water on demand as both of us had sore throats. The presentation was simple, nothing fancy like you would get at fancy eateries - simple, traditional menu that has a story to tell of the Nawabs of yesteryears... This place is surely worth visiting and I will definitely visit soon, this time for a stay with family.
We had an excellent experience at the hotel from booking until departure. We booked directly with Avinash at the hotel while we were on our way by road from Indore. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They make you feel at home. The rooms and entire property is spotless and clean. Its ideally located. The rooms were done up by Dinesh and Malram. The rooms have a good size not cramped .We had dinner at the restaurant, food was excellent. Breakfast was a good spread with both local and serving continental taste. Not to mention the rest room for our driver, woth such a big property to maintain, the staff are doing an excellent job.
Dinner buffet @shahnama was very underwhelming. I wanted to take my son for a Jehan numa experience given 2 days ago I had been there for my 25 year reunion at Darbar hall and the food was Amazing but at Shahnama Iβm struggling to find name of 1 dish which could even go beyond 2/10 Starters - βgreenβ paneer tikka , beetroot kebab, chana salad , cheese balls - all below average π Soup - sweet corn soup πͺ Mains - bhindi, palak paneer, mushroom - no flavours πͺ Biryani - too salty Spinach Lasagne - πͺ Deserts - mawa bati - too sweet Eclairs was ok π The staff was helpful and courteous. They tried their best to make the experience good for us but with this kind of food no amount of hospitality can cover for the damage that was done. Iβm sorry to say even cycle soup wala makes better soup and food than Shahnama kitchen. Time to fire your chef !
