Very disappointing experience Yesterday, 9th January 2026 at AS Gleam Studio / AS Gleam Unisex Salon, Karod, Bhopal I am an actor based in Bombay and before visiting, I clearly called the salon and specifically asked about stick-on nail extensions. I was told by the receptionist that stick-on nails start from ₹500, depending on the design. Based on this confirmation, I visited the salon. At the salon, I again informed the nail artist that I needed stick-on nails only. The service itself was fine. However, at the time of payment, I was suddenly told that the charges were ₹1500. When I questioned this, the staff started showing me press-on nails and insisted that those are stick-on nails, which is incorrect. As someone who gets her nails done almost every month due to my profession, I am fully aware that press-on nails and stick-on nail extensions are not the same. No one goes to a Salon for press on nails but stick on nails.This was a clear case of miscommunication and lack of proper knowledge, which should have been clarified beforehand. Due to this disappointing experience, I had to cancel another service I was planning to book with them for an important event. I ultimately ended up paying ₹1500 despite being quoted ₹500 earlier, which left a very bad impression. — Titiksha Srivastava
