Where do I even begin? Hiring Chintal and his event management company was the biggest mistake of our entire wedding planning. If disappointment had a face, it would be this team. He promised us sun, moon, stars and the whole galaxy, but what he delivered didn’t even qualify as a flickering matchstick. Forget expectations—he didn’t deliver basic, minimum wedding essentials that even a local community hall could manage. We trusted him with the event and catering for my nephew’s wedding, and he turned what should have been a joyful celebration into a stress-filled disaster. Decoration? A Complete Joke. What was promised as “premium, elegant and curated decor” looked like a leftover set-up from a ₹10,000 budget birthday party. Half the decor was not available or it was changed than what was agreed for, the stage looked unfinished, and the mandap setup was so substandard that even photographers was confused on how to capture. Catering? Pathetic is an understatement. There was no catering staff on the first half of the day and he was trying to.manage the event with the ground/ cleaning staff. He had to rush to main city to get the catering staff for rest of the day. He used substandard material in preparing foods (Cotton seed oil, butter - Delicious, Cheese - Umiya Dairy) all that we have never heard off. The cook didn’t seem to know basic recipes. The food was cold, undercooked, tasteless, and in some cases, outright inedible. People literally left hungry from a wedding where we spent lakhs. And because of his shocking mismanagement, we had to change the menu multiple times at the last minute. Not once, but the entire 2-day menu had to be revamped because he couldn’t source even the basic items he had promised months in advance. Event Execution? Nonexistent. Not a single thing was delivered as per plan: • He was not having any managers or team. There were only staff available from decorator and then couple of electricians and the cleaning staff. There were no co-ordinators/ Captain no manage things and he was doing it single handedly • DJ wasn’t set up on time • No coordination during key rituals • Guests standing confused because no one from his team was present to guide • Basic responsibilities like water service, seating arrangements and timing management were completely ignored • He was handling the event single handedly, there was no team or staff available. He was so unprofessional and disorganized that family members ended up doing more coordination than the event manager himself. Stress Instead of Celebration The amount of chaos, embarrassment and frustration he caused is unimaginable. Instead of enjoying the wedding, we were stuck fixing problems he created. He ruined memories we can never get back—something no amount of money can fix. Ratings? Even -100 feels generous. If there was a way to rate below zero, I would happily start with –100. He is by far the worst wedding planner I have ever encountered—careless, unprofessional, unreliable and utterly incapable. Avoid him at all costs unless you want your event ruined beyond imagination.

Worst Event & Catering Experience – Mahi Events Trusting Mahi Events with my wedding was the biggest mistake of my life. This event and catering company, managed by a married couple, completely ruined my wedding and caused nothing but stress, disappointment, and embarrassment. To begin with, the decoration was nothing like what was promised. What we received was barely 20% of what was discussed, and even that was poorly executed. There was zero professionalism or accountability. The catering was a disaster, they cut down a huge number of food items that were already finalized. Guests were unhappy, food service was slow and unorganized, and dishes ran out quickly. There was no proper serving, no coordination, and no management on the ground. The sound system was terrible, creating chaos during important wedding moments. On top of that, the staff was extremely unprofessional, untrained, and clueless about their responsibilities. What shocked us the most was the hygiene. The chairs and seating arrangements were dirty and unhygienic, absolutely unacceptable for a wedding event. It showed complete negligence and lack of basic standards. There was no coordination, no responsibility, and no ownership of mistakes. Despite multiple reminders and discussions, everything was ignored. Instead of enjoying my wedding, I was busy managing their failures. Mahi Events completely destroyed what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. If you value your event, your money, and your peace of mind, do not trust Mahi Events.
